Friendly and fast, cheap and mostly good. $18.00 to feed two of us was great value. The chips were perfect, potato fritters were great, the fish was brilliant and the batter nice and light. The only downer was the spring roll, and to be honest I'm yet to find a decent one in Christchurch. The pastry was chewy and tough, and I ended up just eating the filling, which was satisfactory. I will be going back, but just won't be ordering the spring roll.

The portion was really large! We ordered one set that came with two pieces of fried fish, two servings of chips, and a salad, and it was only $16. My boyfriend and I were so full after eating, but the fish became a bit greasy toward the end, so it felt a little heavy. Other than that, everything was perfect!
